I am trying to make sugar cookies and i read the ingredients incorrectly. I still have some dough left over. Is there any way to make my cookies better w/o starting over? Please help because this was a big batch.

MAKE SURE THE BUTTER IS SUPER SOFTENED AND FOLD IT INTO YOUR DOUGH . ITS GOING TO BE MESSY BUT IT BEATS STARTING OVER. MAKE SURE YOU KNEED IT REALLY WELL. GOOD LUCK! IF THEY COME OUT OK SEND ME SOME : )
Oops, I read it wrong! Just add your other stck and you’re fine!
Add the butter, and mix it. I won’t tell anyone it was added later than the other butter.
No, they are wrong. You can’t add the butter now. Just go ahead and bake them. They will be fine! I promise. Think about all those ladies back in the covered wagon/cabin days. They used what they had and the family was happy they did. mmmmm good day to bake cookies…practicing for Valentine’s Day?, tee hee. Enjoy those cookies…many a new recipe born when a cook goofs up, yep.
