Is Yahoo Personals, E-Harmony & Plenty Of Fish all the same dating "program" or type of service?

I haven’t had much luck W’ Yahoo & am biased against E Harmony so now I thought I’d try a crack @ plenty of fish. Are all these sites basically the same or are there any differences? Any REAL LIFE success stories. I work in a company with mostly married people & most of my friends are married so I really have no outlet to meet other men. Esp since churches are a JOKE & I don’t believe in a "God" anyway!
Please don’t answer if you’re under 18: esp since ppl under 18 aren’t ALLOWED to use these services.
I don’t need to hear "They are a joke" & if you THINK so I suggest you name 5 decent places in Houston,TX a WHITE 25 y.o woman can meet a DECENT man with no kids!

I personally believe that they are all the same and similar to real life, since it is exceptional in life to meet serious ones with remarkable thoughts and ideologies. Though it is harder when you seek this online, since the nature of this Communication means unfortunately helps its users to misguide and cheat others more easily. I think you have to rely on your capability and former experience to filter and find the genuine one. Good luck.
i have not used them but the one i did try found NO matches world wide for me so why bother using it —- to me they are all the same — i get on an "adult" site mostly to talk but even that is pretty limited — and i cant name anywhere in the world that is a good place to meet reasonable ladies —- clubs/pubs/bars are not fun — i wont fake an interest in something just to meet women and i have met a few ladies from the adult site — long term relationshipe were the goal i will add and not some one night stand — maybe try one or more of the so called "sex" sites —- i know of a number of long term relationships and marriages that have come from them and you can access the chat rooms for free so you can at least talk to other adults —- best wishes
