What are some other ways of telling friends that my boyfriend and I met on match.com?

We dont want to admit we did the whole online dating thing. What can we tell people when they ask us how we met? We live too far away from eachother for it to be through mutual friends.

Say you met on holiday,Or through work
Or from family friends which were down for a few days maybe ?
tell them you met through a mutual friend, or friends set you up.
where was the first place you "met" in person?
Tell them that you met there.
